Paradise Is Where I Am

"Living in the moment brings you a sense of reverence for all of life's blessings"

Chaya is located on Legarda Street, Baguio City.

The road that surrounds with quietness greeted my presence as soon as i set my foot on their ground.

<Chaya Restaurant Menu and Price>

The tables were clothed with elegant and beautiful flowers and of course, the light had a great impact on my stay there as it gives the atmosphere in my area a warm and cozy feeling.

The appetizers included are tuna and spinach which had been poached in a sweet sauce.

SALMON SEAFOOD SALAD
(P260)
For me, the Salmon Salad had too much salt in it, that is why i did not eat that much.

TEMAKI SUSHI
(P680)
I find the taste of their sushi delicious plus it was served in a well-prepared presentation.

Rice and Seaweed papers are served with Temaki Sushi for free.
(additional orders each side dishes : 100 pesos)

YAKISOBA
(P260)
Yakisoba tasted a little bit like ketchup.
It really reminds me of my nephew because he loves to eat food with some ketchup on it.

CHIRASHI SUSHI
(P380)

There are abundant raw fish on top of sushi. I think it's food to match the beer.

RAMEN
(P300)
The taste of ramen did not satisfy my expectation maybe because it smelled like a pig and I don't like the smell of it.

MAKI SUSHI VARAIETY
(P650)
The texture of sushi was also a sight to look and it was at an excellent preparation especially the sea urchin; it was soft and so had a fresh look.

GREEM TEA ICE CREAM
(P130)
I adored their green tea ice cream with whipped cream on top combined with red beans.
It's strong and bitter combo taste attracted me.

Chaya is a traditional Japanese Restaurant. In my opinion, it is the best japanese restaurant here in Baguio City. If you want a taste of an authentic Japanese food here in Baguio City, I highly recommend Chaya. Hope you'd enjoy your stay there as much as i had! :)
